Concerts & Tickets: Fellowship Series

The Montgomery Symphony Association is pleased to present its two Artists in Residence, violinist Robin Scott and cellist Ahrim Kim, in a six-concert series known as the Fellowship Series. Mr. Scott and Ms. Kim will be joined by a number of guest artists on these exciting chamber music programs. All concerts will be presented in the Wilson Auditorium located in the Montgomery Museum. 


Sunday, November 4, 2012, 2:30 pm
New Cello Fellow Ahrim Kim and pianist Hannah Shields will open the 2012-2013 Fellowship Series with a matinee program of Bach, Chopin and Prokofiev.

Tuesday, December 4, 2012, 7:30 pm
Violin Fellow Robin Scott will continue this exciting series with a concert of music by Dvorak, Janacek and Suk.  Ms. Shields will join him at piano.

Sunday, February 10, 2013, 2:30 pm
Cellist Ahrim Kim and pianist Qing Jiang will join forces for an afternoon of Brahms, Schumann, Chopin, and Boccherini.

Tuesday, March 26, 2013, 7:30 pm
Violinist Robin Scott and pianist Hannah Shields will return to the Wilson Auditorium stage in a program of Beethoven, Schubert. Faure, and Bartok.

Tuesday, April 23, 2013, 7:30 pm
Ahrim Kim will present an evening of music for cello alone by Cassado, Bach, Mozart, and Handel-Halvorsen.

Violinist Robin Scott will bid Montgomery audiences farewell with a program of Mendelssohn, Wieniawski and Paganini


The six extraordinary programs will bring music making at the highest levels to Montgomery chamber music lovers and will afford our audiences a chance to hear repertoire not performed on other local series.

Our thanks go to the Aaron and Marjorie Aronov Family Foundation for generously sponsoring the Fellowship Series. The Foundation carries forth the names and good works of one of Montgomery’s visionary couples, philanthropists Aaron and Marjorie Aronov.
