Executive Director Search

The Montgomery Symphony Association is seeking a person experienced in arts organization management to serve as Executive Director for the Montgomery Symphony Orchestra.  The successful candidate should have proven leadership skills and an ability to work with a wide cross-range of people in promoting the continued development of an important cultural arts and educational organization.  The successful candidate should be knowledgeable of the historic role of symphony orchestras and the development and nature of orchestral music generally.  Experience as an instrumental musician, professional or amateur, is not required but certainly a major asset. Vann Vocal Institute Celebrity Gala

Friday, April 7th at 7:00 p.m.

On Friday, April 7, 2017 please join us at 7:00 p.m. in Ligon Chapel, Flowers Hall on the campus of Huntingdon College for a FREE concert performed by the world’s greatest opera stars.  The Vann Vocal Institute in conjunction with the Montgomery Symphony Orchestra will present this FREE Celebrity Gala to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Vann Vocal Institute.  This concert will feature the most celebrated operatic arias and duets by Puccini, Verdi, Wagner, and Bizet; plus a few surprises from the world of Musical Theater. Opera greats David Cangelosi, Alan Held, Lori and Mary Phillips, Kimberly Jones, Raymond Aceto , Clifton Forbis and more, will delight with this FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC CONCERT!
