2019/2020 Classical Concerts

Monday, October 7, 2019 at 7:30 pm
The MSO’s two artists-in-residence will step into the spotlight with a pair of concertos for this festive Opening Night Concert of the 2019/2020 season.

Monday, November 18, 2019 at 7:30 pm
Maestro Hinds and the MSO will present a dazzling evening of Russian music including Prokofiev’s famous Peter and the Wolf.

Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 7:30 pm
Enjoy the annual Joyce Caddell Holiday Pops Concert at the Montgomery Performing Arts Centre (MPAC) when the Orchestra plays everyone’s favorites featuring the Montgomery Chorale. Bring your entire family to this holiday Symphony Tradition.

Monday, February 17, 2020 at 7:30 pm
Local artist and Grammy-nominated pianist Dr. Adonis Gonzalez will join the Symphony for Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 17 in G Major, followed by Brahm’s monumental Fourth Symphony.

Monday, April 27, 2020 at 7:30 pm
The final classical concert will feature the winner of the 2020 Blount-Slawson Young Artist Competition along with an exciting piece from the symphonic repertoire to conclude the season.
