Dr. Bryan Reeves has participated in programs of the Montgomery Symphony since joining the Montgomery Youth Orchestra at age 15. He later became a performing member of the symphony while attending Troy University where he received the Bachelor of Music Education degree and was also recognized as the 2005 Outstanding Graduate from the John M. Long School of Music. Dr. Reeves then earned Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in Trumpet Performance from the University of Alabama. Since 2009, he has served on the music faculty at Alabama State University, and he has performed in the MSO trumpet section since his return to Montgomery. Dr. Reeves has served on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors for the Montgomery Symphony Association as the orchestra’s elected liaison for the past three seasons.
